new in 2.3.11 bugs

These 2 new bugs have been intermittent since the last version update, so for a while now. (2.3.11 pro).

1. If I click on Open Files Button, highlight a bunch of them & choose open, SP doesn't load my selection of files & begin to play them. If I only choose 1 item, it loads & plays. The plus button will add files 1 by 1, and I can use the main menu to load an entire file. This is new behavior as of this version. I don't find that this is specific to some of my files vs others, but the behavior does come & go. I never can predict when it will start & stop. Oddly, I succeed in open files button, browsing to my playlists, highlighting a few saved streams (ie favorites) & getting them all to load & begin playing topmost one. Normally, of course, I use the favorites button.

2. When all the numbers in the playlist are highlighted, it used to mean it played through the list. Now, it looks as though it should do so, but it doesn't. Only "next track button" moves to the next piece. I have tried choosing "repeat playlist on" with & without "shuffle on" - makes no difference. I have tried check button (select all, deselect, reselect) - makes no difference. I have tried leaving a playlist loaded, closing & reopening SP, which loads the last playlist, no difference. I have tried loading manually (however that works for me that time) no difference. I've tried to be systematic in approaching what does & doesn't work, & the best I can say is I'm stuck using the next track button most of the time, but every so often for no reason that I can figure out, it does play then entire playlist.

I'm stymied.

Hi Sunny,

The Open file button in the Main window clears the playlist, adds new files to it and initiates the playback starting with the first file. The Add files button in the playlist does just that, adds selected files to the playlist, no extra actions here. This is how it is supposed to work and works for me. But I have to admit the I mostly drag-n-drop files to the watchlist, so may that's why I haven't noticed weird things happening on occasion.

Do you have the "Manual playlist advance" checkbox checked in the playlist options? Please, uncheck if you do.

Was manual playlist advance" pre-checked with the 2.3.11 install? cause I don't believe I have gone into the options in ages & ages (till you suggested it now.)

I'm pretty sure "Manual playlist advance" is disabled by default.
