What a great audio player: small, uses little memory, looks nice and there's no ads or goofy stuff. Just love it.

Internet Radio Recording.

A few months ago we had a poll about most anticipated feature of Spider Player.

The Internet radio recording received the highest number of votes then... and now it's here!

Another good news is that recording of MP1/MP2/MP3 and AAC/AAC+ streams is absolutely lossless. Spider Player saves the exact copy of such streams. Other stream types can be encoded to MP3.

Note: in order to be able to play AAC/MP4 files and AAC+ radio streams you must have the AAC input plugin installed.

Radio Directory.

We know, you have been able to play Internet radio streams for a long time now. But searching for radio stations you'd like to listen to has always been tiresome... Not anymore!

Spider Player now has the Radio Directory with thousands of Shoutcast and Icecast radio stations from all over the world.

Now it takes seconds to get the list of stations that play music of your favorite genre. You can even search for stations that play a particular song right now!

Support for custom MIDI SoundFonts.

Those of you, who were having troubles playing MIDI files and converting them (to MP3, for example) can now rejoice :) Spider Player now allows to select a SoundFont you'd like to use for MIDI playback. Not only this means that the old problem has gone, but you can also find a SoundFont that suits your MIDI collection or particular MIDI file best.

Please check out our FAQ section for details.

And lots of other improvements and bugfixes...

You can read the full story here :)

Or just download the new version and find out youself!
